The timing here was impeccable, you captured this at just the right moment! The expression is priceless - the obvious excitement in the cat's eyes is infectious.
I do love the composition in this one. At first I wondered what that blue thing in the distance was, but then I realized it was actually the cat's toy. What an awesome shot! I love how you didn't cut out the cat's ears or paw, either. I know how hard it is to capture a shot like this - cats move a lot!
The only thing I noticed was that the photo isn't quite as sharp as I'd like it to be. After looking at your camera data, I can see why! 1/99sec is pretty slow, especially when photographing moving objects. I always try to shoot above 1/200sec - unless I have a tripod - and as fast as possible with moving subjects! The shallow DOF works well for this photo well, too, as it blurs the background, but f/2.2 might be just a tad too small for this photo. I'd like to see more of the cat in focus, and more detail will come with a sharper photo!
Thank you I like the composition, colours and cuteness in this photo and that's why I decided to upload it, even though I think the blur is terrible. I usually shoot above 1/300 but I always get confused when I'm indoors, especially when there's a cat show. Some of the cats were sleeping and 1/99 seemed just right with this lightning. Probably I just need more practice in fast thinking I'll keep in mind what you said about the DOF as I often regret using too small one. Thanks!

You've got a great eye for photography, though!
